UNDER THE SKYDOME!! On Friday we went to the Hall to visit the Science Alive "Skydome". We all sat and listened to a man talk to us about the Solar System. When we went into the dome It was like being inside a blow-up cave. The sky was all around and above us.

The Maori's believe that the Milky Way is a huge canoe across the sky.

The Matariki cluster of stars.  They represent a Mother and 6 daughters.  Some people say the 7 sisters.
